Christmas Reason

The spirit of Christmas time,

Should be forgiveness and love,

Not filled with the crime,

Of give me and shove.

Can there really be peace,

Throughout all the land,

When greed will not cease,

As in humility we stand?

We look more to getting,

Than to Christmas giving,

Hoping what we are netting,

Makes the day worth living.

Remember Christ is the reason,

We celebrate the season.
